Painting Gabby
I have recently decided to give painting from old photos a try. Here I have painted my daughter Gabby. It was a picture taken in Hawaii, a trip we took maybe 9 years ago. She was 3 or 4 years old. I think I'm keeping near my easel because I'm very compelled to tweak it a bit here and there, so it is waiting to be finished.

It's coming along beautifully. I just found you - and love what you are doing with the lemons! Your other still lives with vegetables are also wonderful. You have a beautiful style.
